It's built on a heavy-duty genuine maple hardwood block for extra durability, with long-lasting, rinse-clean styrene acrylonitrile bristles that resist chemicals, oil, grease, and mildew. The bristles are stiff enough to sweep twigs, sand, and pebbles, while split ends pick up fine particles like dust, sugar, salt, hair, and sawdust. Each tuft is packed with extra bristles in an offset pattern for complete, thorough sweeping, and the bristles are securely staple-set into the block to keep them from shedding.
